We bought the dress when we were living in County Down, Ireland, in 2005 for my daughter, but she didn't take up Irish dancing so it was never used. I have kept it because it is very beautiful and hand-crafted but we are moving house and I no longer have the space for it. It is stunning and in very good condition. It has a cream crocheted collar which needs partial restitching onto the dress; a very easy and quick job. The colour is black, with white and red embroidery in Celtic designs and a scarlet satin red lining, which needs some minor stitching around the zip. It comes with a detachable black cape with embroidered Celtic designs and red satin lining.
