Paddy K Modest-T-Tops
In conjunction with an aerobics instructor, we have designed a trim Lycra® top specifically to wear under Irish
Dancing costumes. The crop top has proved very successful in helping prevent perspiration stains on the dresses,
especially when used with dress shields. We cut them to waist length or full length to add more protection and modesty.
Special high tech aerobic wear fabric looks and feels as comfortable as cotton, but is actually nylon. The fabric dries
quickly when exposed to air. It actually "wicks" the moisture away from your body. This allows it to dry when you take
your dress off, so you don't ever put it on over a damp garment.
A solo dress is an expensive investment. After paying so much for one, it makes sense to protect it with a top made just
for that purpose. Keeping your dress in the best shape possible means a higher resale value, and keeps you more
comfortable as well.

We were replacing a pair we thought were 3's but were actually 4's. Good for a slender foot. $US30
I have begun making custom dress bags after making several for my daughter. I offer two styles or a variation of

The bodice hangs folded just above the waist over a covered rod (unbreakable!) the jacket gets laid flat upside down in
the 'pocket'. It can also be used for one piece dresses ($US60 plus shipping from Ohio)
The second version is for the one piece dress that you do not want to fold. It is made so that you can use your own
padded hanger, slipped through a loop, to suspend the dress. It has an unbreakable carry rod and web shoulder strap.

The bags are made from your choice of cotton based fabric, covered with waterproof clear vinyl and lined with white
cotton. The bags are trimmed in a contrasting trim, and have ribbon zipper pulls. They are flat or pleated to
accommodate the dress skirt style.
