| In conjunction with an aerobics instructor, we have designed a trim Lycra® top specifically to wear under Irish Dancing costumes. The crop top has proved very successful in helping prevent perspiration stains on the dresses, especially when used with dress shields. We cut them to waist length or full length to add more protection and modesty. Special high tech aerobic wear fabric looks and feels as comfortable as cotton, but is actually nylon. The fabric dries quickly when exposed to air. It actually "wicks" the moisture away from your body. This allows it to dry when you take your dress off, so you don't ever put it on over a damp garment. A solo dress is an expensive investment.
