| These team dresses are for sale in very good condition, they have been very well cared for. All dresses are Navy Blue and made of Travera. The underneath of all the dresses are Liliac satin. The embroidery is in white and lilac and very Celtic in origin, they have modern collar and capes, which have initials on them that can be very easily removed. There are no bloomers or crowns. | This dress was used for about 2 years as the official "bird dress" for Nevin Academy of Irish Dance in MA and RI. The entire dress is made of velvet, with cotton as the underlying layer. The background color is a dark hunter green, with inner panels colored a very light green. The birds have the same light green bodies, white wings and tails that are different shades of pink and white. These are embroidered around the edges. Cape features a large "N" with the same colors as the birds to represent Nevin. There are some spots on the velvet from places where the velvet rubbed together, but these are generally not that noticeable. I am 5'3" and about 125 pounds, so this may fit younger dancers who are my size. Also, the matching pink/white/gold headband is included. Each dress has the same design (Seven Gates embroidered by Celtic Threads) but it has colors chosen by the individual dancers to present a beautiful rainbow color scheme. Black is the base of all the dresses and gold is the common color of embroidery. Fabrics are black gabardine, satin (underskirt, pleats, piping) and glitter ball appliqué. Bodice lining is muslin. Sizes range from small child to large/x-large teen/adult. Conditions range from brand new to well loved. All dresses include a matching cape and most have a jeweled crown in the main color of the dress. Dresses previously used in an organization other than CLRG so the dresses will not be recognized.
