| If you've been shopping for a dress for under $1000, you will really appreciate the value of this one. Act quickly, because at this price and in excellent condition, this Aine Designs beauty is a terrific value and will not last. It will fit a tall, slender 10 -12 year-old and is about the equivalent of a US size 12. The base fabric is a bright golden yellow silk and is a distinctive shade, so my daughter really stood out while wearing it. The embroidery and appliques are purple, red, gold, turquoise, black and silver and the dress has lots of sparkle. In some photos, the purple appears more blue, but it is really a deep amethyst jewel tone. The front pleats are lined in silver glitter square and the underside of the skirt is deep purple satin. The dress is in truly beautiful shape, but does have some of the expected minor wear. For example, along the very bottom, a few of the purple sequins are missing, but the underlying fabric is the same color, so this is not noticeable at all unless you know where to look. The only other sign of wear is some SLIGHT pilling on the inside of the sleeves; which again, is not noticeable. The lining of the dress is white cotton and has no make-up or tanner stains and is odor free. The dress has been meticulously cared for in a smoke-free home. The asking price includes purple satin bloomers and a matching fabric crown I would be happy to send close-up photos of the noted wear upon request.
