Lovely dress made by Gavin Doherty, in good condition. It has really
excellent stage presence as the pretty yellow base fabric is a striking color
that really stands out in a crowd. The main fabric is a white chiffon
overlay with sewn mother of pearl sequins on metallic silver thread over a
darker yellow base. On close inspection, the yellow base has embroidered
vines of leaves and flowers. The whole dress is scattered with large
diamantes for added sparkle. The appliqué is embroidered on pink fabric
with an overlay that has a white embroidered tiny leaf type pattern and
clear sequins. The pleats and skirt lining are a darker yellow with
multicolored dots, and the small cape matches the dress. Dress has a
cotton lining made for the bodice, making the dress extra comfortable to
wear as there are now no exposed seams, the lining is sewn in by hand
and could be removed for future cleaning if desired Also included is a
diamante studded tiara backing, 2 pairs bloomers. Also a new style floral
padded headband that has been used only twice and a diamante number
clip, makeup, earrings and tiara. The sequins and diamante on this dress
really make it sparkle beautifully on stage and it has attracted many
compliments. Smaller sized 11/12-year-old dancer has worn dress.
