| This dress is perfect for that first dancing dress for the beginner dancer. It is black velvet with purple and gold glitter ball sleeves. The underneath is purple satin. The pleats are white satin with green embroidery. When we purchased this dress last year we glammed it up a bit with extra gems and sparkles as it was a bit on the dull side. This dress sparkles on stage. Although adorable on stage it is an older dress and has the issues you would expect to find with an older dress, fading on some of the gold lame and wear marks in some areas, but still has lots of life left in it. My daughter wore it the last two years in the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade and we are only selling it as she has outgrown it. It will need a new zipper as this one is busted (unless you are a zipper wiz) and price reflects this.
