Gorgeous craftsmanship in this Gavin Doherty dress.
Dress is various shades of aqua and blue, with white and
gold accents. The bodice is made of a beautiful teal
sequined overlay. There is a striking white design running
from each shoulder down the center of the bodice to the
pointed waist. The sleeves are a lace material, stitched into
a flowered design. There are cutouts on the sleeves, so
underneath is a teal silk to match the bodice. Flowers in
3D are sewn on the sleeves. The base colour of the skirt is
a sky blue sequined overlay, with a wave design in a rich
blue colour on each side of the skirt. Gold sequins are
stitched on the waves in a zig-zag pattern. All around the
edge of the skirt are ruffles, one made of white silk which
has been embellished with Swarovski crystals,and the
other with a gold, shimmering material. Underskirt is a
very eye-catching rainbow diamond pattern. There is a
soft cape made of the same material as the sleeves
reaching from the left shoulder to the bottom right hand
side of the dress. Though we are the third owners of this
dress, it is in remarkable condition. The excellent quality
of the material makes it a worthwhile purchase. The dress
comes with bloomers to match the underskirt and a
custom made flower headband. Dress has been maintained
in a smoke-free home and has always been stored flat.
The dress would fit a slim nine to eleven year old and does
have room to let down.
