This beautiful dress has only been worn 3 times (only once publicly);
so is in as new condition. It's eye-catching swan motif is a Colleen
Kirby design. The main blue of the dress is a metallic silk. The
sleeves, leaves and deep blue wave is diamond holographic fabric.
The swan herself is created from white velour glitter dot and is
adorned with a blue diamonte eye. The glitter dot is reflected in the
bodice.
Interesting features of the dress are that the orange silk dupion
flowers are a different shade depending on the direction of the light...
they can appear pink. Also, the waves of the lake continue slightly
beyond the front hem of the dress. The petals are finished with
diamontes. The lining of the dress is the bright orange silk dupion,
and the dress comes with an orange leotard and matching headpiece.
The pattern is a straight size 10 Irish Threads with stiffened panels.
The waist has been taken in considerably, leaving lots of room for
growth.
