This pretty dress is new. It was made by Kathryn Trenholme of
Damhsa Dresses and combines a modern style with traditional Celtic
knotwork. The dress has a dropped waist and the skirt is attached
to a stiffened base and side pleats to maintain the correct shape and
allow easy movement.
The bodice of the dress is made from a very pretty jade satin with
black embroidery and half is sequined jade lace over white. The
skirt is white pleated organza edged in jade and the shawl has white
pleated organza attached to an embroidered jade piece. It has a
“necklace” of AB Swarovski crystals, one 1” pear, six ½” pears and
18 ss40.
Measurements:
Bust: 34”
Waist: 29.5”
Dropped waist: 34”
Sleeve length: 23” (lace edging available for longer length)
Skirt length: 11“
Centre back neck to dropped waist: 20”
Total length (top of back to hem): 31”
