This beauty of a solo dress has intricate details that will wow the audience when seen
on stage. It has always had great stage presence and is very eye-catching! The primary
colors are yellow, black, and cerise (dark rose). There are many other colors to
compliment the design. The sleeves are black lace (no rips in the lace) overlaying a
glimmery gold fabric giving a star quality to the dancer. The bottom of the sleeves have
designs taken from the main part of the dress. The cape is removable (Velcro) and
carries the pattern from the front. On the cape are two beautiful appliqués. The front of
the dress has 2 pleats with gold lame inside the pleats. There are 2 gold lame animals
under the neckline that has one stone eye missing when we had it cleaned. The dress
was purchased on this site about 2 years ago and cleaned then worn 2-3 times since.
There is a little wear on the front bottom edges of the yellow and the hem but it is not
noticeable when looking at the beauty of this dress. Honestly, it is not a new dress, as
most are not on this site, and does show mild signs of wear. If you are looking for a
dress that looks absolutely brand new, this is not the dress for you. It was cleaned
when we purchased it but I would always suggest a good cleaning when buying any
used garment. The inside top liner is stained from the previous owners hanger. Black
bloomers are included. This dress has been well cared for in a pet free and smoke free
home by both the previous owner and ourselves. It has been worn by a 5'7" dancer
who weighed about 120-140 lbs.
