I'm selling my beloved elegant purple/white solo dress
because I have retired from dancing and I don't want it to lie
around. It is suitable for a curvier adult. This gorgeous open
championship costume was made by Celtic Yarns, Scotland in
April 2009. It has been worn approx. 3 times. It was always
worn with a Paddy-K crop top underneath. When not dancing
during a feis it was zipped off to air off. The dress has been
stored flat (after airing out a half day) in a half moon bag
every time when not dancing. All seams are closed and there
are no loose threads on the stitching. I have never sat down
whilst wearing the dress. It is still in a great condition. There
are slight marks of make-up on the lining of the bodice at the
collar but not visible on the dress. The bodice is made of
purple satin with an organza overlay fabric in an embroidered
flower pattern, dotted with a small silver hologram sequin.
The panels and the back parts of the skirt are made of the
same materials. The skirt, cuffs, cape and the collar are made
of white satin with a tulle overlay with sequins (holographic
and rings). The bodice is fully lined with light-lilac cotton.
The underneath of the skirt is purple satin and the half part of
the front skirt (where the white is, is white satin). I think
there is an extra seam allowance of 1 inch in the skirt and 1
inch on each side of the bodice. The dress was never altered.
