Beautiful Gavin Doherty Dress. Sad to be selling but dancer is
going to France for few months and won’t be dancing. Dress
has received so many compliments. It has only been worn at
majors and a few regional feiseanna because dancer was
studying during the time she had this dress. The dress is purple,
gold and white. The main fabric is purple velvet which was
specially chosen and bought from Threads of Green, Kilkenny.
The top layer of the skirt is white (and the fabric has small
white flowers on it). The middle layer is gold flowery lace
which is self beaded and sequined but rhinestones have also
been added to it. The same lace is used for the shawl. The
bottom layer is the purple velvet. The knotwork is a modern
take on the Trinty. The underneath of the dress is purple and
white candy stripe. Aura Borealis crystals were added by
Gavin’s team and we subsequently added more to the dress.
Dress has slight tanning marking on the lining of the bodice.
Dress comes with two pairs of matching candy stripe bloomers,
one pair which has never been worn. Matching barrel headband
