This dress could fit anyone from the age range of 15 and
up. It is a beautiful one of a kind championship level dress
that was custom made by Stacy Farley, a private designer
outside of Chicago, IL. This is a beautiful dress that was
only worn for one Oireachtas and one National
competition, and is unfortunately being sold because the
dancer has since retired. The dress is two toned, the front
being a soft cream sparkle satin that blings when the stage
lights hit it. The back of the dress is the same fabric with
sparkles in teal that is in the design on the front of the
dress. The sleeves are a black sparkle fabric, with a teal
billowing at the cuff for that extra wow factor touch. The
fourth color that can be found throughout the dress is
gold, which is mostly the trim that is around the designs.
Crystals could be easily added to the dress, we just never
got around to doing it since it was only worn twice. The
design on the dress consists of Celtic knots that were
created by the designer. It has three pleats in the front and
back with a satin fabric design in between that is
gorgeous. The underskirt and kickpants are the same
fabric pattern as in between the pleats. There is a
matching headband, but if it isn't liked by the dancer a
solid color can be easily matched with the dress. The cape
is small and could easily be replaced with a drape sash if
preferred. The dress is extremely light, and unique in the
sense that it unzips from the neck all the way to the
bottom of the dress. Stacy Farley does this with all her
dresses, so that is very accessible to get in and out of.
Additionally, along the zipper there is the ability for the
dress to be taken in or taken out about two extra inches.
Since this dress was only worn twice there is no odor,
and it has no water or other stains. When not in use it has
been in a dress bag, and the bag will be included in the
purchase.
