Siopa Rince. SPARKLE. Gorgeous. 2 years old (made for SRO 2007).
Currently worn by a slim 5' 5" dancer in Southern Region. Dark Rose-
Pink, Salmon-Pink, and White. Dress, cape, and headbands are
embellished with over two gross of Swarovski AB crystals (size 40) for
extra sparkle. Bodice is Salmon Pink satin with embroidered lace and
bead overlay. Sleeves, three front overpanels of skirt and back of skirt
white satin with white lace and sequin overlay. Inner panels of front
skirt in Dark Rose-Pink sequin glitter. Sleeves adorned with flowers
(Salmon-Pink and embellished with crystals). Dress is accented with
bow/cape at back and more crystals. Glittery number clip hand-sewn to
front center at bottom of bodice. Original headband included along with
updated modern headpiece. Both headpieces have been embellished
with Swarovski AB crystals and with hand-sewn rose coloured
Swarovski crystal beads. Underskirt and bloomers are holographic silver
and white zebra stripped. Bodice and sleeves cotton lined, with inside
edge in holographic silver and white zebra stripe (a very small amount
of fading to the inside edge holographic material).
No stains, no marks, no make-up, no tan discoloration. No odor. Dress
shields always worn. Dancer always wore absorbent sports undershirt
and used removable underarm liners. Dress was always taken off and
put in protective carrier (with dowel rod support) as soon as dancer
came off of stage. Shoulder pads sewn in. Slight "fuzzing" where inner
sleeves touch side of skirt. Otherwise dress is in impeccable shape! We
are second owner. Original owner wore only a couple of times for SRO
2007. There is about ½ “available for let down in skirt, and about ¼” let
out in side bodice seams. For size reference, current dancer wears
junior size 0 to 3 and xsmall or small (juniors/ladies). Bow/cape is held
in place by Velcro and snaps. All Velcro pieces are covered with
opposing Velcro during storage.
Dancer has always received many oohs and ahhs with this dress, many
compliments! It is a very pretty dress! Sadly, dancer is outgrowing it
and although we would love to put it in a shadow box, that would not
be practical. Non-smoking home. Dress always aired and freshened
after each use. Dress always stored flat. Extremely well cared for!
