Made by Frith Wawryk. The dress is fully lined and
in excellent condition having only been used for one
competition year (worn 8 times). The main body of
the dress is a sewn on sequin fabric with alternating
double rows of both gold and silver sequins which
are exceptionally eyecatching. Jet black velour is
used for the sleeves, hem and neckline borders and
as accents in the appliqued design. Other applique
fabrics are bright blue rocky lame, white holo
sequin velour and a fluoro salmon pink fabric,
which is also used to line the skirt. Black and white
harlequin satin is used for accent in the kick pleats
to mimic the appliqued harlequin design of the
sleeves. The dress has a conventional 3 panel
design with box pleats between front and side
panels. The skirt, sleeve and neck hemlines are a
zig zag cutaway as shown in the photos and are
finished with satin stitch. There is a tiara backing
and gold bloomers.
