Finest quality silk Championship Irish Dancing dress in orange, royal blue
and silver. The dress is 2 years old and was worn by my daughter when
she achieved 3rd place at the Queensland State Championships and 12th
place at the Australian National Championships. The has a unique
embroidered design inlaid with contrasting pieces of hot pink, lime green
and orange satin and highlighted by a shiny silver fabric. The sleeves,
hemline and part of the bodice and back panel are overlaid in a sheer
fabric with a diamond pattern in sparkling silver thread. Dozens of clear
crystals have been painstakingly applied by hand to the dress and tiara.
Rows of clear crystals have been hand sewn along the neckline, on the
sleeves, skirt and bodice and around the outer edge of the back panel.
The underskirt is lined with lime green satin and the front kick panels are
highlighted in the shiny silver fabric. The dress has generous seam
allowances to enable adjustments to be made easily and comes ready to
dance with a matching tiara, lime green bloomers and leotard and a purple
cotton dress bag.
