This dress was made for the 2007 Australian National
Championships by Lara Upton. The dress has had only 1 owner.
The main fabrics used were yellow and black velvet. The
underskirt is lined with a yellow and white polkadot fabric. The
dress has been altered as the dancer grew – the darts were let
out in the back bodice. These can easily be put back in if
needed. The dress has excellent stage presence – it really stands
out due to the bright colour. The dress is in good condition
except for one shiny patch on one of the front panels -this is not
noticeable on stage. This dress comes from a smoke free home.
The dress has a soft lace cape. Bloomers and headband are
included.
