This gorgeous ‘like new’ Gavin Doherty dress was made for this
time last year and is in excellent condition! The dancer wore it about
15 times including the O and this year's Worlds and received a world
medal. The bodice is black light weight velvet covered in two tones
of bright blue embroidered flowers. The back of the dress is fully
embroidered as well. The skirt is comprised of four layers of
iridescent white ruffles with additional appliqués of flowers
embroidered on velvet. The skirt has great movement. There are
approximately 1000 large Swarovski crystals adorning the dress
(40ss, 48ss, and 16mm specials). The “sparkle” on stage is amazing.
A blue and crystal headband & bloomers are included. The dancer is
about 5"1" and normally wears a 0 or 2. We are located in Delaware,
USA. There were additional costs to the dress due to the extra
embroidery in the bodice (front and back - all flowers are
embroidered), appliqués that were added to the design of the skirt,
and the abundance of crystals.
